Alright, a post just for fun…I love to eat! One of my favorite foods to eat is steak. I prefer it cooked medium and depending on the place that cooks it, I like to eat it with Heinz 57 sauce. Kathleen and I were talking this week about some of our favorite places to eat a steak. Let me share with you my top 5, in order, and take a few moments to comment below on your favorite place to eat a steak.
1. Cheesecake Factory
I know. You’re surprised, right? Who would’ve thought that a place which carries such a large menu and is famous for their dessert more than anything would have such a great steak? It’s crazy, but it’s true. They have an unbelievable ribeye and filet. Next time you go to Cheesecake Factory head right for the steaks. You won’t regret it, and you won’t even need steak sauce. It’s that good!
2. Texas Roadhouse
My wife has always loved Texas Roadhouse, but it hasn’t been until recently that it moved up on my list. They bring the total package. The baked potato makes that red-centered steak perfect! Not to mention, the salad is great as well! Just a good “total package” steakhouse.
3. Chima’s Brazilian Steakhouse
I had never been to a Brazilian steakhouse until I visited the country of Brazil in 2008. I immediately came home and looked up the closest one and was not disappointed. Chima’s in Charlotte is awesome. They bring you an unlimited assortment of meats that will leave you fully satisfied.
4. Ruth’s Chris
It’s been a long time since I had a Ruth’s Chris steak, but it’s one you cannot forget. To be honest, it’s not my #1, but worthy of a mention in the top 5. I could easily see it being replaced once I visit Sullivan’s in Charlotte. I’ve heard a great deal about it!
5. Outback Steakhouse
Just thinking about it makes me smile. Warm bread, Aussie cheese fries (the ranch sauce is out of this world), and a great salad prepares the way for a good steak. Outback is just a staple in the steak lovers diet.
So, there’s my top 5. What about yours? Where are your favorite places to eat a steak?
